1987 Liberty Center Cockpit Cutter

Bremerton, Washington

The many oceans of the world await you and now is the perfect time!! Here is the boat that will take you. Globally capable. All correctly presented offers reviewed by owner for consideration. He is retiring from boating. "China  Cloud" has accommodations for four in two staterooms, plus two in the salon, for a total of six berths. The master stateroom aft features a centerline 7' king size bed, plus head, shower and bath. The guest stateroom forward includes an ensuite head with separate shower. Both staterooms have vanity tables and stereo speakers.

Forward is the chain locker, aft of which is a large sail locker. Moving aft is the forward head with a separate and roomy shower stall  and ample storage. The guest stateroom/office can be arranged with either a double berth or a single day settee to starboard. There is a desk/dressing table with a swing out stool on the port side. The abundant storage includes filing drawers, hanging lockers, TV cabinet and numerous additional lockers and drawers. Headroom in forward spaces is 6'.
Up two steps aft is the main saloon with 6'9"  There is an L-shaped seating area with teak dining table on the starboard side. Opposite to port is a settee which can be used as a single berth. The salon has excellent headroom providing a feeling of spaciousness. The salon windows provide ample light and views. The decor is highlighted by a back-lighted stained glass panel in the bulkhead between the salon and the guest stateroom.

The galley is located on the starboard side, C-shaped for ease of cooking while underway and containing the appliances one would find in a normal home and has 7'3" headroom.  Moving aft, on portside, is the bar area which features a crystal cabinet and wine rack. Adjoining this area is the chart table facing forward towards the salon and the walk through to the aft cabin. On the inboard side of this walk through are the generator and the laundry (Kariba washer-dryer)

The master stateroom is next aft. The berth is king-sized and the entire cabin is spacious. There is a vanity unit, ample storage including large hanging lockers, many drawers and an ensuite head with separate bath/shower with seat. The head itself is Vacu-flush with its own holding tank/macerator/pump out.

The entire interior is finished in solid teak  on the bulkheads and a solid teak and holly cabin sole. There is no veneer. The teak is finished with polyurethane varnish, hand rubbed. Night illumination is provided by red courtesy footlights. Bolstered cushions are blue ultra suede in excellent condition. Design accents, such as the custom blue carpets, feature dragons. Two reverse cycle Aqua Air units (main salon, master stateroom) provide heat and cooling.

China Cloud was purchased originally in Florida then shipped to Washington State where she has cruised "lightly" her entire life. Never chartered.  Owner has done what he wanted to do on this little ship and he is very open to offers. Turn off your TV and go see the real world! Here is a boat that was designed and is equipped to circumnavigate the Globe.
