Overview and Owners Comments

Chris Craft introduced its 38 foot Commuting Cruiser in November of 1928. Its debut was at the National Boat Show in New York the following January where the entire years production of 47 was sold out on the first day.

They would go on to be known as Wall Street Commuters as the Captains of Industry moved daily from their homes on Long Island to New York Harbor each day for work. This particular model was delivered originally to Lake Tahoe and has remained there all of its life.

After many years of careful stewardship, constant upkeep and ongoing maintenance it is now being offered for sale.

The boat enjoys a 5200 no soak bottom and a modern Mercruiser engine which powers the boat nicely.
